On a whole i waned to try and keep my website simple and minimal. I used little text to ensure the images would be the focal point. Pink was chosen as the accent colour just to shop the design from looking too plain. The light pink was chosen because it went with most of the artists work. The text I selected was bold and heavy to show relate to the title of the website and to the concept of the essay that print isn't dead, it is persistent and will be around for a long time. The last image shows what would happen when you click on one of the images. The image would be enlarged and information about the artwork would be brought up as well as a link to their website.
